Happy Halloween

Today is a wonderful day! Ryan has had fun in his costume, for the most part. We have been all over the place and I think that he is so happy to finally be in bed sleeping. The trunk or treat was a ball. We ran out of candy in 25 minutes and I bought over 100 pieces. Crazy!!!

Family Pictures

We had our family picture taken today. Andrew took them for us up at the Temple Quarry. Hopefully they turned out good. We took some snapshots with our camera. Poor Ryan was so tired and cold. He just screamed for a good chunk of our outing as well as the drive home. Not much more news. I got some good footage of him laughing. I love to hear him laugh. Eric doesn't like it too much because you can see how bald he is getting :)

Baby Alexis

My sister Haley had her baby yesterday. Her name is Alexis Meg, and she is just so cute. I know that Haley is going to post pictures, but I am almost beating her to the punch because I have to show you all how cute! I am so excited, because I will be going to New York in 2 weeks to visit. I can't wait to hold her. Congrats Haley & Wayne!

Shopping Carts

Today I went with my mom and sister to Costco. Kara has a girl who is about15 months old. Well, we put Ryan in the shopping cart next to her. Its the first time he's been in a shopping cart and I think Nicole was happy to have the company. She was just loving him. It was so cute to see. Also, Ryan has an exersaucer that he loves to play in.

Recently he started doing this new thing where he puts all of his weight forward and then backward. Its hysterical. You need to watch the video.

I love this picture of Nicole, she is so cute.

Big Milestones

Ryan has been growing and developing so quickly. I can't believe that he weighs in at 19 pounds and is already 7 months old.
Milestone #1

Ryan has got teeth. He has two little teeth on the bottom. They are so cute, he is having fun with them also, he always has his tongue over it feeling them.

Milestone #2 (almost)

Sitting up. He is almost sitting up. He'll sit up for a little bit, then decide he wants to lay back down. What he likes doing more than sitting up is sitting half up on his side. He'll lean on his side and play with toys. Maybe one day he'll want to sit up all the time. Then I won't need to worry about a flat head anymore.

Also, my sister Haley is pretty much in labor. She is having back labor and is so uncomfortable. But whe was at the hospital early this morning and was dilated 4 cm. Hopefully she can have the baby in a day or two. We are so excited to meet Lexi!!

Another Football Game

Yesterday, we took Ryan to another of the U's football games. It was so fun to get him dressed up in his red, and his new U of U beenie. He doesn't mind sitting at the games (because we are outside) he isn't too fond of all the screaming and whistling. Whenever something great happens and everybody screams, Ryan screams also, but for an entirely different reason. He was quite content during half time to watch the band and play with his toys. We gave him a graham cracker, yes a whole one and it was so funny to watch him just suck on that and make a mess.
We had lunch before the game with my brother and sister in law and their little girl. It was fun getting together. I wish we could have stayed for the whole game, but Ryan was so tired, that he just screamed and lost it. Good thing the Ute's kicked San Diego's tail! They did great! Go Utes!

Christina's Wedding

Today was quite the eventful day. I got up early to go to a training meeting, and then came home to get myself and Ryan ready for Christina (my sister-in-laws) wedding. She got married early this afternoon in the Bountiful Temple. It was a beautiful ceremony and it was great to feel the spirit in the Temple. It makes me feel so peaceful and makes me want to attend the temple more often. Anyways, after that was over we had pictures at the Temple and my mom was so good to watch Ryan and bring him to us after the ceremony was over.
All of the boys had blue boy ties. Ryan looked so cute in his. He did not like getting it on, however. He screamed and screamed. But it was all worth it in the end Then we went to Erics parents house until we needed to leave for the reception. While we were at the temple we were talking to Nate & Rachel and we got on the subject of shaving heads (Nate's head is shaved). We then thought how funny it would be to shave Eric's head after the ceremony and go to the reception with a bald head. So we decided to do it. Eric does look really good bald. Nate shaved his head and at the beginning just shaved the top part so he had the horseshoe look going on. Everybody tried to talk us into keeping it like that for the reception, but I was a no go. But Eric does look good, good thing too, because I think that he'll be that way sooner than later. It's was great because my brother in law Nate is bald and my brother in law Michael always has a shaved head, but he has never bic'd it.
So, today was the big day. They all had a nice smooth head. It was a beautiful reception center, but we were there for so long that the evening did tend to drag for me. I think especially because Ryan was so tired and there really wasn't anywhere to lay him down. So, he was just not thrilled the whole time. All in all, however it was a gorgeous day, except for the cold weather and rain.
