Football

What, two posts in one day? Am I sick? If you saw us as a family you may think so. It is 3:00 pm and we are still in our PJ's. What are we doing? Watching Football. Ryan wakes up and says "Football". He wants to watch it, so we obliged. Especially today! The Georgia/Georgia Tech game was really good. Now we are watching more. I took this funny video of Ryan. It cracks me up!!!

Black Friday

So, we didn't do any shopping yesterday. There were lots of good deals, and lots of things I wanted to get, but the bottom line was I was too lazy (and Eric would say too smart) to get up early and go brave the crowds. With my luck I would have been the pregnant lady trampled over by unruly crowds.

We had a good time putting up the Christmas Tree in the morning. I am waiting for the day that I hear an ornament break on the floor. Ryan points to the ornaments and says "ball". Yeah, I'm waiting for him to throw one, only to see it break and then hear the "uh-oh".

We went downtown yesterday afternoon/evening. We drove into Gateway and then took Trax to the Gallivan Center where we watched a cute little childrens choir sing. Ryan actually sat and watched almost the whole thing. Then we walked to the Pantry to get some dinner...yummy. Their rolls are divine. Anyways, after we were done there we went to Temple Square where the lights had been turned on. Ryan loved looking at the lights. It got cold enough at this point that he actually wanted his gloves and hat and blanket on. One of the things I love is that they put the Nativity on top of the reflective pool. It was so pretty and the perfect place for it. As we walked back to Gateway, Ryan was serenading the passers by. We just laughed and laughed. When we got to Gateway they were giving out hot chocolate and cookies. It was so much fun to be out in the cool winter air all bundled up.

Must read this before going on.......

This morning we were giving Ryan some cereal to hold him over until the waffles were done. So, he was yelling and fussing for his food. I was getting frustrated and as I'm pouring the milk over his cereal I said "Isn't life just so tough?" Ryan looked at me and said "uh, yea."

We died laughing!!!!!!!!!

The Perfect Season

Go Utes!!! We just got home from the Utah vs BYU game. It was so much fun to see Utah kill BYU, especially since we've lost the last 2 years. It was so much fun. The fans were crazy! At the end they started rushing the field, before the game was even over. So, after the game was over we went on the field, and I saw Louie Sakoda and got my picture with him. The one person I wanted to see, it was great. It's amazing how he looks like he is 10 years old. We were also able to see our friend Jay Hill (he is the special teams coach). It was just the perfect game!!! Go Utes!!!!

Whats New?

So, I have clearly not been a good blogger lately. I don't really take many pictures now a days and for some reason, don't like to blog without them.

What's new with us you may think?...

Ryan is communicating so much more lately. His new favorite words are no, yes and let go. He says let go quite forcefully. It is nice to have more communication, but I'm not loving the attitude.

I still am not over the morning sickness. I am 90% better, but still need the meds to be able to function. At least Ryan is "throwing up" in every bucket he sees

We have the nursery empty and ready for paint, as soon as we find out what this child is.

I have updated my "coupon book", finally thanks to Rachel for showing me hers and getting me going!

So looking forward to the game this weekend. The HOLY WAR!!!

Yeah, so really not much is going on. I feel now I am just babbling, so I think we'll end on that lovely note!

10-0

Wow!!! Last night Eric and I went to the U game against TCU. It was a nail biter from start to finish, but the end was euphoric. The Utes pulled out a touchdown in the last minute and a half of the game and I thought my lungs would burst from screaming so much!! I've never ever heard the stadium that loud before. After the game was over most people stayed at their place in the bleachers and hugged, kissed, screamed with delight for a good 10 minutes! It was truly amazing and I am so proud to be a Utah fan!!! It took forever to get home last night, and I was in need of my bed but I am so happy that I went. I even hugged one of the players after the game because I was so happy. I don't know who it was but I don't even care! Yes we did "storm the field" after, only because it was the fastest way to the car. Hooray!!! Go Utes!!!! This is our family that we have season tickets with. It was so fun to be there with just adults and have the kids in bed. Thanks Mom!

I found it!

After thinking my camera was lost forever, I realized where I had put it. The joys of being pregnant, I forget everything!!!!

So, now I can talk about all the fun things we've been doing.

Ryan had a ball on Halloween. We ran nonstop from morning until night, but he sure got away with lots of candy. He was Nemo, and was the cutest Nemo there has ever been.

Here is a picture of the Halloween decorated table (I love Ryan sitting at his high chair eating a salad, what kid likes salad??)
Here is a pic with him and my parents at my dad's work

A new development is Ryan is now in a toddler bed. I didn't want two cribs after the baby was born so I decided to move Ryan over to a small bed. He is doing great, and enjoys his freedom. I found the bed at the DI and cleaned and repainted it and now it looks brand new! Yay for me, now I just need to find a book shelf and a toy chest and we're set.

We went to Chuck E Cheese on Saturday. It was my good friend, Debbie's, daughters birthday party. Ryan enjoyed the pizza, the TV and putting his coins into the machines that spit out lots of tickets. He is a gambler in the making. He got so many tickets, he came away with a ball & bat, a chuck e cheese toy, and 5 small suckers. Way to go son! and Happy Birthday Chloe!!

Camera...Camera

I lost my camera!! I feel sick. We were at Chuck E Cheese over the weekend and I left it there. I am just so mad at myself I wanna puke. I just had to vent.
