Girls Camp

The past couple of days I have been at Camp Piuta with the Young Women in our ward. What a great experience it was. I was a bit nervous going since I just miscarried a couple of days before I left, but I am so grateful that I went. The youth in my ward are some of the most exceptional ladies I think I've ever met. There was never any "drama" with the girls, they were so welcoming and inviting to all of the girls and leaders there. They were grateful for all the time and effort put into it and they were so pleasant with great attitudes. I feel so lucky to be able to serve with them. I really think that I needed those couple of days to cope with what I've just been through and the young women and other leaders were amazing for me. I know that miscarriages are common, but that doesn't make it any easier when you are going through it. If any of you are reading this please know from the bottom of my heart that I love you and am so thankful to have spent these last couple days with you!

Now for the fun pictures. The pic above is Julie, Holly, Annie, me and Camille during the hike. We went on an amazing hike. The Earth is the most beautiful creation and we hiked in some magnificent areas of it.

Katie and Holly (I couldn't get her attention to turn around)

Chars face in this picture absolutely cracks me up! I had to add it!!!

I'm sorry to hear about your miscarriage. It is such a hard thing to go through! I'm glad that girl's camp was a good experience for you to deal with the hard time, though. I went to Piuta when I was in young women's! Do they still have the "haunted cabin 13?" The leaders stayed in there, because none of us girls would dare to!
