Rolling Over & Sleeping through the night

Our lives have been full of momentous occasions these last few days. On Monday night Ryan went to bed at 8:30 and woke up to eat at 6:30. We were so thrilled that he slept for so long, but we were even more thrilled when last night he went to sleep (again at 8:30) and woke up at 7:30 to eat. I did check in his room this morning to make sure he was still breathing, it's exciting but a little nerve wracking when you are used to them waking up often.

He can also roll over onto his stomach. Eric has seen him roll to his back also. He is just browing up so fast. I went to check on him last night and he was already on his stomach sleeping. He is getting so much more mobile. He turns his body all around and just kicks and kicks. The fun part is his cooing and talking.

His new favorite toy is the ceiling fan. He can just stare at it and laugh and laugh. Another thing he loves are his hands, we can hear him sucking on them at night. If he can't find his hands, he can always find his arm. Who needs toys. He is a little scared of them right now. I know, what child is scared of toys, but ours is. There are some that he likes, he just looks at others and it looks as though he is thinking, what on earth is this. He is still a serious little boy, but with some fun laughs inbetween. I am so glad that I get to stay home with him.

Nikki is getting better & better it seems by the day. Ryan is now getting scared. Yesterday I was holding him, & Nicole saw him and starting crawling, quickly, toward Ryan. Ryan just starting crying. One day he will be able to defend himself, better yet play with her.
